As New Hampshire heads toward the 2026 General Election, NEA-NH President Tuttle is reflecting on the importance of our union.

Back-to-school is a moment filled with possibilities. Learning spaces are being prepared, students are arriving with hope, families are looking ahead with anticipation, and educators are ready to welcome them all into a new school year. But that hope meets a stark reality in 2026. This year’s NEA Representative Assembly (RA) was held in Denver, Colorado over the Fourth of July. The NEA RA is the annual business meeting of the union. It is essentially our Delegate Assembly but with 6000+ more members attending!
