CHRISTA MCAULIFFE LEADERSHIP AWARD
This award will be presented to commemorate Christa McAuliffe and her dedication to education. It will be awarded to an NEA-New Hampshire teacher who has shown the greatest contribution toward the improvement of the educational environment through his/her leadership.
COMMUNICATIONS AWARD
This award is presented to the local association that best uses newsletters and/or technology to communicate with its members or the community to benefit their local and NEA-New Hampshire. The award will be given on the basis of all publications of a newsletter and/or technology distributed during the current school year.
EDies ESP OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award is presented to an outstanding Education Support Professional (ESP) who goes above and beyond to support students.
JO CAMPBELL EDUCATION SUPPORT PERSONNEL AWARD
This award is presented to an education support member who has shown outstanding effort to improve the educational environment through his/her contributions.
NEWS MEDIA AWARD
This award is presented to an individual member of the radio, television, digital, or print media. The award will be granted for one specific article or editorial, for a series, or for a consistent general stance supporting public education.
SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE LOCAL ASSOCIATION AWARDS
This award will be presented to a nominated NEA-NH Local Association that best serves its members and works toward the improvement of NEA-NH.
TREA AWARD
The TREA Award commemorates the passage of the collective bargaining law in New Hampshire resulting from the Timberlane Teachers’ Strike in 1974. It is presented to a New Hampshire teacher member who contributed to the collective bargaining process and worked successfully to advocate for members.
