CONCORD, NH – September 16, 2020 – NEA-New Hampshire announced their recommendation of Jenn Alford-Teaster for State Senate District 8 today.
“At a time of great uncertainty for families and students, we need a strong advocate for public education like Jenn Alford-Teaster in the New Hampshire Senate,” said Megan Tuttle, NEA-NH President. “We’re confident that Jenn will fight to make sure we support our students and property tax payers when it comes to education funding.”
“The voters of District 8 need someone who understands the needs of our schools, and that person is Jenn Alford-Teaster,” continued Tuttle.
“The investment NH made in me through public education when I was a child is one of the reasons I’m running for the Senate today – when we invest in our public schools, we create opportunities for our children to thrive. I am so honored to have the support of the NEA and am excited to work with them to stand strong for public education and for our teachers,” said Alford-Teaster
Over the coming weeks, NEA-NH will be working with hundreds of its members across Senate District 8 to help get the vote out for Jenn.
