Answering your questions during the session are:

Rich Lavers is currently Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Employment Security and has been in that role since 2013. Rich started with the Department in 2010 and prior to that was an attorney in private practice in Massachusetts.

Karen Levchuk currently serves as General Counsel to the Department of Employment Security. Karen has previously served in the NH Attorney General’s Office and as the State’s Director of Personnel. She has worked in the field of employment law in the public and private sectors.

Lon Siel, Counsel, has been an attorney with the New Hampshire Department of Employment Security for more than 43 years. He is a former Chair and Vice Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the NH Bar Association. Presentations have included “Demystifying the Unemployment Benefits System,” “Navigating the NH Unemployment Process,” and “The Unemployment Appeals Process and Reimbursers.” He represents NHES on the Joint Agency Task Force on Misclassification- Executive Order 2010-3 and the NH Commission on Deafness and Hearing Loss.
