Mental Health Resources for NEA-NH Members

You’re stressed, exhausted and may need some support or someone to talk to other than your spouse or colleagues who are equally spent. You have numerous resources available at your fingertips providing help for your mental health.

NEA Member Benefits offers many discount, financial, insurance and retirement planning benefits for NEA members. They also provide a no-cost, convenient option for mental health and support through their partner Sanvello.

NEA members get free, unlimited access to Sanvello Premium for 30 days, and a 25% discount after that. Or, stick with basic Sanvello access for free.

Daily mood tracking, Guided Journeys, coping tools, meditations, progress assessments, and anonymous community of peers to help you find relief when you need it.

School employees with Cigna SchoolCare health insurance have free support and resources through Cigna. This includes access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to speak with a counselor for mental health, legal, financial and other life situations. Helpful apps are available such as iPrevail and Happify can offer soothing games and exercises. Log in to  and select the Coverage tab to find resources. School employees with Anthem and Health Trust health insurance, have access to several programs available through the Life Resources program. Secure  login is required:

  • Help for health-impacting life stressors not covered by traditional medical plans
  • Complimentary behavioral health therapy (up to 6 sessions per issue)
  • Complimentary 30-minute consultation with attorney
  • Complimentary 60-minute phone consultation with financial planner
  • Caregiver support
