Dover Teachers Hold Second #Red4ED Event

After their second walk-in and walk-out (working to contracted hours), Dover teachers rallied outside city hall before tonight’s school board meeting. Dover Teachers Union negotiators meet with the board for its tenth and hopefully final meeting on Friday morning. NEA-NH Seacoast Region Affiliates Contracts Approved by Voters

NEA-NH units in the Seacoast Region also did very well at the polls. New collective bargaining agreements were approved by voters for NEA-NH affiliates across the Monadnock Region last night. NEA-NH Western Region Results Show Impressive New Gains for Members in Newport

NEA-NH locals associations in the Western Region did very well at the polls last night, most notably in Newport where educators there saw their efforts succeed as their three year contract passed after years of working under an expired agreement. NEA-NH South Central Region Locals Scored Clean Sweep Tuesday Night

NEA-NH affiliates in the South Central region had three contracts on the ballot. All three passed. Candia Educational Support Professional Association Derry Education Association Londonderry Education Association The town of Raymond voted three to one against exploring the possibility of closing their high school and their students and tuition to Pinkerton Academy. Raymond Education Association, parents, and community members spoke out against the proposal.
