Keene Education Association Builds Community and Membership

Through this grant program from NEA – and in partnership with NEA-NH, the KEA participated in the six week program by having six part-time member organizers (each working 5-10 hours a week) out in the field engaging new hires, potential members, and their current membership using new and creative techniques. Manchester Educators “Rock Stars” During 5-hour Lockdown

During an active shooting incident in Manchester Friday morning, police secured Manchester Central High School while searching for the suspect. That search led them to deploy a SWAT team near the school. The high school went into secure in place at 11:00 a.m. Manchester police officers were present as students inside the school remained in their classes for the rest of the day.
