NEA-NH Human & Civil Rights Committee (HCR)

What Are Human & Civil Rights?
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Civil rights are the rights of citizens to political and social freedom and equality.
How Can We Help?
The Human Civil Rights Committee can provide professional development, give presentations, offer support, and be a voice for members.
As a dues paying member, you are never alone. The HCR committee is here to help you find resources and to assist with training and support you want and need.
If you would like for an HCR Committee member(s) to provide any assistance, please feel free to reach out to the committee chair.
