The NEA-NH Executive Board and Staff welcome you to the 2023 Delegate Assembly (DA), your association’s annual business meeting. As determined by the NEA-NH Constitution & Bylaws, a certain number of delegates from every local association are invited to come together and discuss, debate, and vote on the budget, items of business, and legal affairs conducted by the Association. Any NEA-NH member can be selected by their local association to attend and represent the local at the DA.
At this annual meeting, delegates hear from the NEA-NH President about association goals and priorities for the coming year. The Executive Director reports on important work undertaken by staff and members and lays out initiatives for the ensuing year. Delegates can vote on changes to the governing bylaws, policy resolutions on issues important to members and their professions, and set next year’s membership dues, in conjunction with adopting the annual budget that funds the association’s activities.
Local associations are recognized for work they do within their locals and school districts for the benefit of members and students. Keynote speakers and other professional staff members give speeches on relevant education issues.
