NEA-NH will host guest speakers from Reaching Higher NH for a special webinar briefing for NEA-NH Members on the proposed revisions to the Minimum Standards for Public School Approval (Ed 306) on Thursday, October 27 at 6:00PM. The webinar will include information on the process thus far and an analysis of the proposed revisions from the latest available version. We’ll also talk about next steps and the rulemaking process.
These administrative rules, as they are currently written, lay the groundwork for all public schools in the state, and are critical to ensuring that all of our students receive a high-quality education.
For the past two years, a workgroup has been working on revisions to these rules, with little public input. Our findings indicate that the proposal could have vast implications for students, educators, and our public schools.
If you have any specific questions about the proposed rules that you’d like to share in advance, please send them to Brian Hawkins, NEA-NH Government Relations Director at bhawkins@nhnea.org. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A at the end.
