NEA-NH: Divisive Concepts Guidance Falls Short

NEA-NH Seeks Formal Guidance on HB2 Implementation from NH Attorney General

CONCORD, NH – July 12, 2021 – Today, NEA-New Hampshire requested that the state Attorney General issue specific, formal guidance on the implementation of HB 2 within public school districts and public institutions of higher education across the State of New Hampshire. NEA-NH: We Did Indeed Respond

Earlier in the week, NEA-NH received a request to provide information for an article being prepared by the Union Leader on the massive voucher expansion program recently signed into law by Governor Sununu. Specifically, we were asked if we would challenge the new law in court, what effect vouchers will have on public schools and our members, and were we planning on organizing public schools.
