2021 NEA-NH Candidate Statements

The filing period to run for NEA-New Hampshire offices has closed and this year’s slate of candidates has been set. Voting begins March 8 and closes at 5:00 p.m. on March 22, 2021. Again this year, voting will be conducted online. Candidates are entitled to submit statements and photographs for this issue of the Educator. Not all candidates submitted statements or photos this year. All statements and photos received for this election appear here.

I am running for a seat on the NEA-NH Executive Board. Currently, I am the president of the Litchfield Education Association and have been a teacher for more than twenty years. I seek this position in order to help protect and advance the interests of NH students and educators.

I have been teaching at Salem High School and a Salem EA member for twenty-nine years. I am currently the SEA treasurer and represent Salem at Southern Regional Council Meetings. I have attended the Delegate Assembly since 2008. Currently I represent the Southern Region on the NEA-EB.
