Join us for NEA-NH Summer Leadership Week and learn about “Building a Network from Within.”
John Maxwell said, “The single biggest way to impact an organization is to focus on leadership development. There is almost no limit to the potential of an organization that recruits good people, raises them up as leaders, and continually develops them.” Raising members up as a knowledgeable, supported leader in their local association is the purpose of NEA-New Hampshire’s Summer Leadership Week.
During the week of August 7-11, members have access to over 30 workshops to assist in their work as a local association leader and educator. Training is offered in bargaining, leadership, and how to process grievances. Sessions will explore how to engage members, our communities, and other pro-education partners. For an overview of the workshops being offered, please open the brochure (see link below) and view the workshop matrix on page 4.
“We encourage you to use this opportunity to focus on your association and talk with others facing the same challenges, said Megan Tuttle, NEA-NH President. “This conference is one of the many ways we support members in their local association endeavors – to help them become stronger and more independent.”
